Ever since I was a child watching my Uncle Bill's
slides of their vacations, I wanted to be able to capture nature's beauty the
way he did. As a teen I bought my first 35mm camera and a few years ago switched
to digital. My favorite subjects beside my grandchildren are animals and scenes
(neither complain about the way they look). Below are some of the ones that I
think turned out pretty well. (Clicking on the small pictures will enlarge them.

time. Clicking on the word above will lead you to a special page of photos

Of
course, the whole animal kingdom provides opportunities for beautiful
photographs. Clicking on the word above will lead to a

Scenes
by my definition can be pictures of what man has made or what God has given us.

Flowers
have always provided a special fascination for me. Trying to capture the beauty
God has given us in flowers has always provided a special challenge. Clicking on
the word above will lead to a page of some of what I consider my better flower
pictures.
Generally, I consider the pictures I take of people to be merely
snapshots. Every once in a while I get one that is better than a snapshot. It
shouldn't be too surprising some of what I consider to be my better pictures of
people are of my grandchildren. When they're young enough, they don't complain
about their picture being taken. Clicking on the word above will lead to a page
of so what I consider my better people pictures.
