Before my honeymoon my only vacation was a week in Carbondale with my brother and sister-in-law when he was going to college at Southern Illinois. I suppose I just never developed a wander lust because we hadn't done it. We not only didn't have the money for extensive travelling when the boys were growing, I didn't feel the desire. I now regret we didn't do more.

As we have gotten older, we have begun to travel more. We have even left North America, but there is so much to see here that I know I'll never have the time and money to photograph all of the areas, I'd like. It has now gotten to the point, when Pam says, "Would you like to go ...," by only response is "Can I take my camera?" Since I almost always can, the answer is always yes,

Our Australian & New Zealand Vacation taken in 2006 was our first trip we kept a journal faithfully while on the trip. It was a wonderful memorable trip that we will never forget.

Our Arctic Odyssey Expedition was taken in 2008 and gave us an opportunity to see the rugged beauty of the far north.
